How to make Earl Gray cake
Ingredients for Earl Gray Cake:
3 eggs
1 pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
Earl Gray tea bag 1 pc
Milk 100 g
Butter 100 g
2 scoops of flour
Cornstarch 2 tbsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Powdered sugar to decorate as needed
How to make Earl Gray cake:
Separate the egg whites and yolks.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and add half the sugar little by little to form.
Open the top of the tea bag and add it to the milk and heat it with butter on a gentle heat.
Beat the yolks with the rest of the sugar with a mixer on low speed and gradually add the milk and butter mixture to the beaten yolks.
Then add the egg whites and sift the flour, starch and baking powder together and mix all the ingredients slowly and in a circular motion.
Grease a 22 cm round mold with paper and pour the ingredients into the mold and bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for 40-45 minutes.
After cooling, decorate with powdered sugar.
